The sequel was made six years after the original. The Producer of the first film decided to direct\u00a0the
\nsecond despite having no experience in this field. The replacement of Kirk Douglas with\u00a0Brian Dennehy
\nwas never really credible. The film was distributed by Disney in the US, who\u00a0gave it the ridiculous title
\n‘Return to Snowy\u00a0River Part I I – The Legend Continues’ – I always\u00a0thought ‘The Return of the
\nMan from Snowy River’ would have been better. When in the script\u00a0the stallion was given the ability
\nto make moral judgements and decisions, I thought we were\u00a0in real trouble. Despite all this there are
\nsome truly great action sequences and the film is\u00a0popular, largely I think, by association with the original.<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
